The Professor highly recommends the house-made sangria which comes in either red or white wine options. shandy made with Blue Moon Ale and lemonade and the Schweitzer Slush frozen apple juice with green apple boba balls. Skipper Canteen serves a selection of wine and beer as well as a couple of specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails like the Jungle Navigation Co. Falls Signature Grilled Steak and the “Hardy Har Char” Siu Pork served with seasonal vegetables and jasmine rice. Other standouts on the entree menu include the adobo seasoned Dr. Entree’s included large portions of delectable offerings with some trademark Jungle Cruise humor like “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is! friend chicken with jasmine rice and chili glaze. Guests can choose from a selection of appetizers like shikiri noodle salad, shumai, seasonal soups, and salads. The menu at Skipper Canteen features an array of exotic flavors from regions featured in the Jungle Cruise. The room features a display of large butterfly specimens and antiques as well as maps charting locations of sea monsters the organization has encountered in their travels. This special area can only be accessed through a hidden bookshelf door. Room is the secret meeting room for the famed Society of Explorers and Adventurers. The Jungle Room serves as the Falls family parlor and is adorned with wood carvings of scenes from the iconic Jungle Cruise attraction as well as stained glass chandeliers of the Enchanted Tiki Room birds. Falls and his family, who founded and continued to operate the company, as well as interesting findings from their adventures can be seen throughout the room.

The main dining area, the Mess Hall (which isn’t very messy at all, they will have you know!), is full of the history and discoveries of the fictional Jungle Navigation Company. The restaurant is filled with antiquities and discoveries from the Jungle Cruise’s many expeditions and is broken up into three dining rooms, the Mess Hall, Jungle Room, and the S.E.A. These brave adventurers have been escorting guests through the wilds of the jungle for decades and are now inviting hungry families to join them in their once-secret base of operations. Skipper Canteen is designed to represent the command post for the world-renowned Jungle Cruise skippers. Here guests can dine at the skippers’ mess hall in their tropical headquarters and enjoy their unique brand of humor as well as a menu inspired by the flavors of South America, Asia, and Africa. This vibrant and eclectic eatery is one of the park’s newest offerings and is themed after the classic Disney parks attraction The Jungle Cruise. LTD Skipper Canteen is a Table Service restaurant, serving lunch and dinner, located in Adventureland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. The backstory of the restaurant is that this is the mess hall where the Jungle Cruise Skippers eat, and they have opened it up to guests as well. While the food is adventurous and flavorful the meals also come with punny jokes courtesy of the servers who happen to be Skippers fresh off the boat. This exotic outpost serves bold, flavorful cuisine from Asia, South America and Africa. Tucked away in Adventureland you will find a unique restaurant inspired by the World Famous Jungle Cruise. We hate to admit it, but over the years we have usually ranked the Magic Kingdom at the bottom of the list for finding great restaurant options.
